ABOUT US.

Studio Aorta creates captivating spatial experiences through the synergy of compelling narratives, thoughtful design, and artistic expression.

We believe thoughtful and intentional spatial experiences strengthen and celebrate the world’s varied physical, cultural, and social identities.

Founded in 2017, Studio Aorta believes that spatial experiences are a way to engage with the past and present especially for the underrepresented voices in our world. Our work brings these voices to the forefront through artfully executed exhibitions, illustrative visual identities, and thoughtfully planned visitor experiences - creating influential connections between stories and space.

With our clients we use a collaborative, storytelling first approach which transforms untold stories into unforgettable experiences. Our clients include Smithsonian Institution, National Building Museum, George Washington University, Goethe-Institut USA, Folger Shakespeare Library, Dumbarton Oaks Museum, Philippine Embassy, and the Heurich House Museum.

Operating with Integrity.

We will lead by example, upholding the most ethical business practices while creating a new model for multi-disciplinary agencies, because we believe in an equitable future.

Interweaving Thoughtfulness.

We will approach each project within the synergy of art, design, and narrative – always remembering the voices who tell stories are as important as the stories themselves.

Acting with Empathy.

We will treat all people with inherent dignity - celebrating the diversity, strength, and experience of our interwoven journeys.
